Gumball Machine Math Facts Game
Here is another fun game for practicing math facts with your children or students. I have always loved the look of gumball machines- must be the colors and the shapes. So I created this game which combines gumball machines and math!
To Prepare:
Print the Gumball Machine Math Facts Game.
Laminate or cover the game with clear contact paper.
Optional: Print the Math Facts Cheat Sheet
Grab a dry erase marker and some counters to cover answers (chips, beans, pennies etc.)
To Play:
Choose a math fact family to practice. Use the cheat sheet to make things easier. For this example, we used the +3 family.
Write the answers, or sums, from each problem on the gumballs.
Read each problem aloud and have your child use a chip, penny or bean to cover the correct answer.
Other Options:
Say a math problem and have students write the answer on a gumball.
Write sight words on each gumball. Say a word and have students cover the correct word with a chip.
