Valentine’s Display Clips
I was so excited to come home the other day and find a package addressed to Boy Mama Teacher Mama and to look inside and see the incredible selection of craft supplies sent to us by Craft Project Ideas.com. There was almost everything we needed for all our Valentine’s Day crafting (and more!). We made a bunch of different things with the craft items, but this was by far my favorite.
Materials:
- clothespins (big and/or small)
- hot glue gun
- various craft supplies in Valentine colors. We use acrylic heart jewels, felt heart stickers and plastic beads. Thank you Craft Project Ideas.com!
- wire display line, see our post, Displaying Children’s Work
We have this display wire in our kitchen I created a few months back where I hang the art work and school work my boys bring home. I love it and it is so easy to use, but thought it needed a little spiffing up for Valentines Day. So we took our wooden clothespins down and decorated them with the craft supplies pictured above.
How to Make Valentine’s Day Clips:
Select the craft supplies you want to use. Heat up your hot glue gun and have some fun decorating the clothespins. Then use the clothespins to hang your child’s creations. Here are a few of our favorites.
And here is what they look like in action! 🙂
Aren’t they pretty?
