Reindeer Clothespin Craft
I have a way of getting sucked into seasonal crafts, especially with little ones running around the house! And honestly, who can resist an adorable reindeer clothespin with a big red nose? Not me!
My latest creation is this super cute Reindeer Clothespin Craft, and I am a little obsessed with how it turned out! It is so easy to make, and best of all you probably already have most of what you need in your craft closet. If not, everything is available at your local craft store or even the Dollar Store — which is always a win!
These little reindeer are perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary kids. In addition, they also make the most adorable gift toppers, ornaments, or little holiday gifts for friends and family!

What you need:
✔️clothespins
✔️brown paint (a brown marker works as well)
✔️googly eyes (or make your own from paper)
✔️red pom-pom
✔️brown pipe cleaners
Note: I used the Fuzzy Kit from CraftProjectIdeas to create our reindeer!
Directions for Assembly:
- First, paint the clothespin brown and set it aside to dry completely.
- Next, cut a brown pipe cleaner in half, then bend one piece in half to form the base of the antlers.
- Then, cut a few smaller pieces of pipe cleaner and attach them to create the antler branches.
- After that, using a hot glue gun, attach the antlers between the two handles of the clothespin
- Finally, glue on the googly eyes and red pom-pom nose.
That’s it! These Reindeer Clothespin Crafts are ready!
Fair Warning!
We had trouble stopping at just one! These little reindeer are so fun and so quick to make that you may end up with a whole herd before you know it. Make sure you have extra supplies on hand — you have been warned!
Whether you are making them with your kids at home, your class at school, or as a fun holiday activity at a party, this Reindeer Clothespin Craft is guaranteed to be a hit. I would love to see your creations — leave a comment below and tell me how yours turned out!
