Welcome to Boy Mama Teacher Mama — I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m a former elementary school teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience and a mom of two teenage boys. I’ve taught everything from Pre-K through third grade, and I even spent two years as an elementary school librarian. Needless to say, I’ve seen a lot of sticky fingers, heard a lot of “but why?”, and learned what actually works when it comes to kids and learning!

Boy Mama Teacher Mama was born out of my love for both teaching and motherhood. After years in the classroom and at home raising two active boys, I realized that the best learning happens when it’s fun, hands-on, and doesn’t feel like work — for kids OR for the grown-ups guiding them!
