FREE Snowflake Number Cards
📝 This post, Snowflake Number Cards, was originally published in 2016 and has been updated with new information and resources.
I had so much fun creating my FREE Strawberry Number Cards that I decided to make a winter version too!
These FREE Number Cards are perfect for practicing number recognition, counting, matching, and simple math games at home or in the classroom.

Ways to Use the Snowflake Number Cards
These cards can be used in so many different ways! Here are a few of my favorite ideas:
Memory
Use the numeral cards, dot cards, or both. Lay the cards face down and take turns finding matching pairs.
Dice Roll
Lay the cards face up. Roll a die and find the matching numeral or dot card.
Number Match
Place the dot cards on the table. Students use counters or manipulatives to cover each dot while counting.
Number Order
Mix up the numeral cards and have students put them in order. Try the same activity with the dot cards for an extra challenge!
Complete the Count
Give each player a few cards. Working together, students place the cards in numerical order until the complete sequence is finished.
Addition and Subtraction
Draw two cards and use the numbers to create addition or subtraction problems.
More or Less
Turn over two cards and decide which number is greater and which is less.
More Game Ideas
These cards also work well for Go Fish, Old Maid, and Snap.
Wrapping Up
Whether you’re teaching at home or in the classroom, these FREE Snowflake Number Cards are an easy way to add a little winter fun to math practice. I hope your students enjoy using them as much as mine did!
