Mint Chocolate Play Dough

I have both boys home sick today. That meant it was time to make some new play dough. We decided we used Duncan Hines Frosting Creations Flavor Mix’s Mint Chocolate because it seemed to go with St. Patrick’s Day and the arrival of spring.

We used our favorite recipe from K3 Teacher’s Resources “Best Play Dough Ever.” We mixed the flavor mix into the boiling water and stirred it until dissolved before adding it to the other ingredients.

The green was not very vibrant, but instead a pretty mint green. We could have added some green food coloring, but did not have any in the house. The kids loved it nonetheless and the smell is amazing!

A perfect activity to entertain two boys who are home sick from school.
