Free Pumpkin Seed Digraphs Game
Are your students struggling with beginning consonant digraphs, or are you simply looking for a new way to practice? This free digraph game gives students practice identifying words that begin with sh, th, ch, and wh while playing a simple pumpkin-themed board game that’s perfect for this time of year.

How to Play the Game
The game includes a pumpkin-themed board and picture cards organized by digraph.
To prepare, print the game board and picture cards. Cut apart the cards. The cards are organized by digraph, so you can choose how many cards to use for each digraph based on the needs of your students.
Students take turns picking a picture card, identifying its beginning digraph, and moving to the next pumpkin seed on the board with the matching digraph.
The game is easy to prepare and works well for literacy centers, small groups, or extra phonics practice.
