Letter Sound Bingo Game

The is the second game I created as a request by some colleagues. This game is your basic bingo game that helps students practice matching letters and letter sounds. Be sure to check out our first game, Letter Sound Wheels, as well.

Preparation

Print templates on card stock.

Cut out letter calling cards.

How to Play

Give each student a bingo board.

The teacher can be the “caller” or a student can take the role.

The caller chooses a letter card and either shows it to the group or says the letter name to the group. Students then need to see if they have a picture on their bingo card that matches the letter/sound. S/he then puts a marker on that picture.

Students aim for either 3 in a row, several 3 in a rows or for blackout.
