FREE Printable Soccer Spelling Game

With summer just around the corner here, I know parents are always looking for ways to practice skills with their kids to keep them fresh for the following school year. I love this game because it is versatile and fun. This game can be used to practice spelling words (spelling patterns), math facts and more.  Simply print the FREE template, cut out the players, grab some spelling words, sight words or number cards and play!

How to Play

Each player places his playing piece at one end of the soccer field.

One player picks a card with a spelling word (sight word, math fact etc) and says the word to his opponent. If he spells it correctly, he moves one “line” or “space” across the field.  The next player does the same.

Each time one player makes it to his opponent’s goal, he scores a point.  At the end of the playing period, the person with the most goals “wins.”
