Tiny Little Fly, Back Again
Michael Rosen’s book, Tiny Little Fly, has made a come back in our house. My youngest fell in love with this book a few years ago and, as often happens, he moved onto another favorite. Recently, he rediscovered the story and has decided to bring it to school for his “Shining Star Week.”
In our original post, A Tiny Little Fly, we shared a review of the book and a craft to accompany the story. Click the image below to take you to the post.
When my son decided to share the story with his fellow pre-kindergarteners, we decided to make a tiny little fly for each one of his classmates. Thankfully, we had all the supplies in the house so it was just a matter of putting them together.

Of course, sending them all in his backpack didn’t seem quite right, so I created a label and placed each one in a Ziploc bag. Next week, when I visit my son’s classroom to read the story, we will pass them out and each student can take home their very own tiny little fly!
Here is what each student will take home:
I am so excited that my son has rediscovered this book because it is one of my all time favorites as well!
