All We Have to Remember
Been feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the things I need to remember these days, so I made a list…. 🙂
Moms have to remember….
- We have to remember birthdays, anniversaries and holidays.
- We have to remember to buy wedding presents, baby shower gifts and to send condolence cards.
- We have to remember shoe sizes, shirt sizes and pant sizes.
- We have to remember how much our child weighs, how tall he is and the size of his head.
- We have to remember appointments, meetings and class times.
- We have to remember to make those appointments, register for those classes and to be at those classes.
- We have to remember homework, backpacks and notes to be signed.
- We have to remember the names of our friends, our kid’s friends and those of our husbands.
- We have to remember who is allergic to peanuts, to dairy and to wheat.
- We have to remember birthday parties, play dates and other special events.
- We have to remember where the good playgrounds, beaches and the child-friendly restaurants are.
- We have to remember to give our children (and pets) their medications and vitamins.
- We have to remember to refill medications, refill the ice cube trays and replace the toilet paper.
- We have to remember which books are good for bedtime and which are not.
- We have to remember which day is P.E., which is library day and a school lunch everyday.
- We have to remember our password, our pin and our phone number.
- We have to remember our email address and our mailing address.
- We have to remember to check our email, to check Facebook and to check our phone for messages.
- We have to remember to carry our debit card, our credit cards and our identification.
- We have to remember to pack an extra pair of clothes for the park, diapers for the baby and snacks.
- We have to remember the babysitter’s name and hours she can work.
- We have to remember the names of teachers, coaches and bosses.
- We have to remember to do the dishes, the laundry and to clean the bathroom.
- We have to remember to make the beds, vacuum the floors and put away the toys.
- We have to remember the names of the Octonauts, Handy Manny’s Tools and The Little Einsteins.
- We have to remember where the car is parked and where the nearest bathroom is.
- We have to remember all the cute, interesting and intelligent things our kids do on a daily basis.
Now, if only I can remember to post this. 🙂
