FREE End of the Year Tooth Graph
I think most first grade classes have some sort of chart for keeping track of how many teeth are lost throughout the school year. We definitely have one in our class and as the year comes to an end, I want to do something else with it instead of just having it hang on the wall. We did a huge graphing unit a while back so I thought creating a graph from our lost teeth data would be logical.
How to Complete the End of the Year Tooth Graph

Give each student a copy of the tally chart. Using the class tooth chart, have students tally the number of teeth lost in each month and then count their tallies and record the number in the second column
Then have students use the data from the tally chart to complete a bar graph on the graph paper.
Finally, have students answer the questions about their graph and even pose their own.
