I cheated a bit with this one. I took the rocket books I had listed in our Make Your Own Rocket Ship post and created a separate post here. The books seemed to be hidden there and I wanted them to been seen more readily.  If you haven’t checked out our post about making your own rocket ship, be sure to check it out. It is pretty cool! 🙂

Edward Built a Rocketship by Michael Rack

Edward wants to go to space, so he builds himself a rocket, packs up his lunch and his teddy bear “in case it got too rough,” says goodbye to his mom and takes off. While in space, he has quite an adventure, but then returns safely to earth and his mother’s outstretched arms.
